1951 Sea King Gale products 5 Horsepower carb removal
you'll need a 7/16" crescent wrench to remove the 5 bolts and 2 nuts holding the carb onto the back of the engine.
you'll want to loosen the lower of the two 7/16" nuts holding the left gas tank mount bracket.
then remove the upper bracket bolt so the bracket can swing free and give access to the 7/16" bolt which holds the
carb in place.
and do the same on the right side. NOW Locate
the left side 7/16" nut and "hidden bolt" behind the gas bowl. next locate the lower right bolt, right side of the bowl and the 7/16" nut. and the carb can be removed from the engine block with ease.
